Kubilay Tat
Kubilay Tat, the first son of a teacher family, was born on June 5, 1972 in Kırşehir and completed his primary and high school in Bergama, İzmir. He left Ankara University's Faculty of Political Sciences and Istanbul University's Faculty of Literature. He read extensively in the fields of history, philosophy, and literature. He took a hiatus from his novel studies, which he found to be insufficiently literary. He wrote the scripts for Karl Kases' film Alia: A Bosnian Rhapsody and Uğur Yücel's film Ejder Kapan. He wrote the screenplay for the South Korean film adaption of ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7.’ In Turkey, the film was the most popular of the year.
